This Wednesday evening at 9pm, Target will hold its Kaleidoscopic Fashion Spectacular at The Standard, New York. Come to Meatpacking District and watch live from Little West 12th Street and Washington Street an amazing fashion show, featuring special lighting, an original score, and dancers in the windows of the The Standard, New York. The show starts at 9pm.

On Tuesday, The NY Times covered how the High Line has inspired development along its stretch of Western land, from Gansevoort to 33rd Streets. While the recession delayed and caused problems for some developments, there has been a good amount of construction starting and resuming recently, as well as land changing hands. Look forward to some great new commercial buildings along the High Line below 14th Street, and lots of new options for housing above 14th Street. Check out the article here.

"The Segal has Landed"

Crain's New York has written a great story on Jonathan Segal, the president of the One Group. The One Group got their start in the Meatpacking District, originally with One Little West 12th (now The Collective), and by the end of this year will be operating 25 restaurants throughout America. Jonathan is also working on opening a restaurant in London, as well as growing the STK brand into Las Vegas and Atlanta. Check out the article here.
