Axor NYC Opens

The Axor NYC showroom in the Meatpacking District has officially opened to the public. Located on the second floor of the newly renovated Vitra showroom, Axor displays its modern and innovative lines of bathroom and kitchen fixtures. The showroom features arrangements and collections of fixtures to help designers and clients fully understand the products- there are also several working fixtures and a shower to test.

Gypsy Goddess at Claypso

Be sure to stop by Calypso in the Meatpacking District this Thursday, September 22nd, for a very special in store event. Calypso St. Barth's will be offering a sneak peak at their latest October line, the Gypsy Goddess collection, as well as a 20% discount everything in the store. Axor Opening in the MPD

The Meatpacking District welcomes Axor to the neighborhood- a showroom for the high end, German contemporary bathroom and kitchen fixtures company, owned by Hansgrohe. The 3,000 square foot showroom is opening on the second floor of the Vitra store at 29 Ninth Avenue, which offers contemporary furniture from established designers. Axor NYC will feature working bathrooms and fixtures to test, and has on-site interior designers to help find the best product for your home. Tour de Fashion Bike Share

Beginning yesterday on Fashion's Night Out, and lasting though Fashion Week to September 15th, stop by a Tour de Fashion stand in the Meatpacking District or the Fashion District and pick up a custom bike to ride for free between the two areas. Each of the 30 bicycles have been customized by New York designers, including Thom Browne, Diane von Furstenberg, Betsey Johnson, Isaac Mizrahi, Elie Tahari and Rebevva Taylor.
Stop by the public plaza outside of Dos Caminos on 14th Street and 9th Avenue in the Meatpacking District to pick up one of the custom bikes and start riding around town!

Fashion's Night Out 2011

Join the Meatpacking District on Thursday, September 8th for the ultimate night of fashion; Fashion's Night Out 2011!
For the third year, the Meatpacking District will feature some of FNO's most exciting events, at more than 40 retailers within the neighborhood, as well as pop-up events on the streets.
