Introducing The Collective
The Collective, a really interesting new restaurant replacing One Little West 12th, is set to open this Wednesday, the 17th. The space has been renovated by the One Group, and the concept of the space is "old and new come together to create 4 or 5 different active living/ dining room spaces within the restaurant". The restaurant was designed by our neighbors ICRAVE and is furnished with all sorts of different objects and furniture that have been recycled and refurbished as new and different pieces. Lionel Ohayon on nightlife design
NBC New York's NightSide Blog interviewed Lionel Ohayon of the Meatpacking District's official design firm, ICRAVE. Designing for nightlife was mainly discussed, as ICRAVE designed the recently opened SL and Provocateur. Check it out here.
What We Do
The MPIA was created with the intention of partnering with the NYC Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) to redesign, manage and maintain the public spaces of our neighborhood, while continuing to represent and promote the area’s business interests, produce events and manage a marketing and public relations campaign for the neighborhood.
