
On Saturday, March 27, 2010, W Magazine proudly launched a new signature program—Shop W Style—celebrating W’s first-ever issue dedicated to shopping in association with the Meatpacking District Initiative. This program is designed to promote chic retail sources, products, ideas and people.
A celebration of W’s first-ever issue dedicated to shopping:
· Shopping events held in the MPD’s art galleries, boutiques, clubs, restaurants, and salons.
· Shop W Style Lounge at André Balazs’ Standard Hotel served as a hub for the weekend events.
· Shop W Style took over the entire neighborhood, with outdoor banners, boutique window signage, and Shop W Style map distribution.
· All stores featured exclusive shopping discounts, fabulous giveaways and gifts-with-purchase.
· Editor/expert appearances: experts discussed the latest trends at local retailers.
· Stylists on demand: Private one-on-one styling consultations from sought-after pros, by appointment only.
