    Double Seven

    In anticipation of Double Seven returning to the Meatpacking District soon, David Rabin updates Guest of a Guest on his project. Double Seven is set to re-open at 63 Gansevoort Street later this year and will be a great addition to NYC nightlife. Read the interview here.

    The new Rebecca Taylor store located at 34 Gansevoort Street has officially opened. The store is luxurious and elegant, providing a great showcase for the dresses, tops, bottoms, bags and shoes.     Having been open for almost 5 years, the EMM Group has decided to give their original Meatpacking District nightclub Tenjune a facelift. Over the past two months, the club has been refurbished with new designs and lighting by Meatpacking District design firm ICRAVE. In total, the facelift cost EMM Group $400,000 and will be unveiled tonight for the beginning of a 3 day celebration, ending with a performance by rapper Fabolous on Saturday night.     Rassi on Mac & Milk

    From The Standard Culture website, check out this interview with Rassi as Fashion Week has come to a close. Mazdack Rassi, the founder of Milk Studios, started MAC & Milk four seasons ago as an alternative Fashion Week platform from Lincoln Center. Now, the continuously growing initiative has expanded into The Standard, New York to host shows and has started a website to document and live stream everything MAC & Milk related.

What We Do

The MPIA was created with the intention of partnering with the NYC Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) to redesign, manage and maintain the public spaces of our neighborhood, while continuing to represent and promote the area’s business interests, produce events and manage a marketing and public relations campaign for the neighborhood.
