Benefits of Membership

As a business or property owner in the Meatpacking District you are part of a community. Businesses locate here because of the creative dynamic that flourishes within these blocks. With the continuous growth of the neighborhood, there has never been a better time to join the membership of more than 200 restaurants, retailers, corporate entities, other area businesses and local property owners.

Membership dues are an investment in your neighborhood, and are 100% tax deductible because the MPIA is a 501(c)(3)*. Your dues enable MPIA's marketing efforts for the District and help cover the cost of the rejuvenation, maintenance and management of our neighborhoods public plazas, thereby increasing the desirability of the area, creating a great appeal and designating areas for neighbors, employees and visitors to gather, sit and enjoy the area that our businesses already call home. It's a proven fact that the longer patrons stay in any given area, the more money is spent in that area.

As a member, you will be invited to participate in this year's world-class roster of events, gain exposure for your business and have a voice in the community.

If you are on the ground floor and are open to the public, your business is eligible for placement on MPIA's RED MAP, a neighborhood staple and a visitor's must-have. In addition, members will be featured on our dynamic and interactive website, ensuring visitors to the neighborhood know exactly where you are and what you do. Check it out at: http://www.meatpacking-district.com. For building owners, the map and MPIA's website are great promotional tools to market the neighborhood to prospective tenants.

*501(c)(3) public charity status is pending.
