Fancy a fir? New York City’s holiday season officially kicks off at our seventh annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Wednesday, December 4.
Trimmed in the front garden of our 1895 Collegiate Gothic building where Clement Clarke Moore wrote the classic poem “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” this year’s 25-foot fir will be kitted out in a Union Jack palette. The British theme is an homage to Chelsea’s namesake across the pond in jolly old England.
Join us from 4:30 PM to 7 PM for crafts, carolers, biscuits and hot toddies, all presided over by Santa and Mrs. Claus. The tree will light up at 6 PM.
Once the tree is topped, the festivities aren’t over: Enjoy our ace holiday decor all season long and visit our Lobby Bar for merriment and mixed drinks.Visit the Website
