The High Line Hotel has announced this week the launch of its three-part yoga series, which will take place in the hotel’s historic Refectory. In partnership with high-end yoga apparel brand Haven Collective, three exclusive yoga classes will be offered to hotel guests, friends, and neighbors at 2PM on October 23, October 30 and November 6. The series will include expert yogis from New York City’s top studios – Modo Yoga NYC, Sky Ting Yoga, and Yoga Maya – styled in the latest Haven Collective apparel. Designed to provide participants with a zen escape from the oncoming New York City winter and hectic holiday season, the yoga series will feature unique-yet- approachable classes of various disciplines for novices and advanced practitioners.
October 23, 2016 | 2PM – Modo Yoga NYC
The Modo Yang Yin focuses on body-balance. The first half of class is a challenging Modo-style flow, followed by a Yin-style extended floor series to truly and fully relax your body. The whole experience is supported by livemusic that will help support the movement of the body and calm the mind.
October 30, 2016 | 2PM – Yoga Maya
The Yoga Maya class is a 90-minute full mind, body and soul Vinyasa experience led by Yogamaya Founders Bryn Chrisman and Stacey Brass. Enjoy live, sacred music during the class and a short group “Omm” chant at the end!
November 6, 2016 | 2PM Sky Ting Yoga
Sky Ting teachings derive from several traditions of yoga and an expanded study of physicality in general. Classes are typically defined by an emphasis on structural integration, a connection to music and a unifying theme to ponder. The aim is to help students better connect with themselves and with the world-wide-web of life.
All classes are complimentary. In the spirit of giving, voluntary donations will be accepted for The Partnership for the Homeless. To secure a place in each yoga class, participants are asked to email yoga@TheHighLineHotel.com as space is limited. Yoga mats will be provided.Visit the Website
