The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe at St. Bernard in New York was the first parish in New York City to serve the swelling numbers of Hispanics. The parish bought the house at 230 West 15th Street, which is connected with the house at 231 West 14th Street. It is an imaginative concept which provides space for parish societies and accommodations for visiting priests, a place of community and a place share experiences of faith.
