With the sudden arrival of Spring, AllSaints launches its Spring women’s and menswear collections with a creative project entitled Road Trip. As a continuation of the season’s overarching theme of escapism, the brand travelled to southern Florida and took to the road with a Super 8 camera. Echoing the brands global journey, the project draws focus on the freedom to wander and explore without a set destination in mind.
AllSaints creative director Wil Beedle says: “Rather than shooting the collection piece-by-piece in the confines of a city studio, we hired a truck and went out onto the road for a few days, capturing the collection in the setting and spirit in which it was initially conceived. The video footage and still images we shot are the documentation of the moment and the mood, and evoke the feeling of a scrapbook. Spontaneity, restlessness, endless possibilities – if only for a weekend.”
Encapsulating confidence and attitude, the creative project features essential items from the Spring collection including the Lemon Balfern Biker, Amy Skies Bomber, Base Bomber, Deirdre Ruffle Shirt and Ione Strip Tee.
