The Cocktail:
Vermouth Panache
- Build in a Rocks Glass
- 2-3 Dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
- 1 oz. Dolin Sweet Vermouth
- 3 oz. Dolin Dry Vermouth
- Add Ice, Stir, Garnish with a Lemon Twist.
The Wines:
Domaine Frédéric Esmonin, Bourgogne Les Genevrières Rouge 2018 -$19.99
Buchegger, Grüner Veltliner Holzgasse 2018 – $18.99
The Popcorn:
Blue Cheese and Caraway
- On the stovetop, add 3 tbsp. Olive Oil to your pan.
- Add 1/2 cup popping kernels and place the lid on the pan.
- Listen carefully for the first pops. Once popping, move the lid ajar so that there’s some air to keep the popcorn from burning.
- When the popping slows, remove from heat.
- Once popped, toss in a large bowl with:
- 1 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Cracked Black Pepper
- 3 tbsp. Melted Salted Butter
- 2 tbsp. Blue Cheese Powder (I found it at Kalustyan’s)
- 2 tsp. Caraway
- 1 more tbsp. Melted Salted Butter
- Toss thoroughly and enjoy!
