Bangkok Supper Club Brings a Taste of Thailand to Eater World's Fare
As Eater World's Fare returns this weekend, Meatpacking's dining scene takes center stage, with neighborhood restaurants bringing their flavors to the festival. Among them, Bangkok Supper Club is serving one of Chef Max Wittawat's most personal dishes.
Representing Meatpacking at the festival, Bangkok Supper Club will serve Chef Max Wittawat's, Pork Jowl, featuring deep-fried pork cheeks served with savory garlic baked rice and topped with spiced pork cracklings.
For Chef Max, the dish is more than a guest favorite. Inspired by a meal his father often prepared while he was growing up in Thailand, it's a tribute to home.
"We're very excited to be a part of this event so we can bring Thai culture to the festival, even though Thailand isn't part of the World Cup this year. Hopefully one day though!"
The festival offers visitors a chance to discover the flavors that make Meatpacking one of New York City's premier dining destinations, beginning with Bangkok Supper Club's take on Thai cuisine.
In the kitchen, every element has a purpose. Flavor, texture, and temperature are all considered before the dish reaches the table. Chef Max describes his cooking as bold and dynamic, always thinking about how those elements work together to create something memorable.
Those layers come together in the Pork Jowl, creating a dish that reflects both comfort and craftsmanship.
Whether you're discovering Bangkok Supper Club for the first time or already count it among your Meatpacking favorites, Eater World's Fare is a chance to experience one of Chef Max's most personal dishes.
Eater World's Fare takes place tomorrow at Pier 36, purchase tickets here. Be sure to stop by Bangkok Supper Club's booth to sample Chef Max's Pork Jowl, along with dishes from fellow Meatpacking restaurants Mökbar and ZAAB ZAAB.
If the Pork Jowl leaves you wanting more, make a reservation at Bangkok Supper Club in Meatpacking, then spend some time exploring the neighborhood's vibrant dining scene, shops, and cultural offerings.
