A Father's Day, the Meatpacking Way

BY Meatpacking BIDPUBLISHED 06.18.2026

If we had to take a guess, you nearly decided to just wing Father's Day plans yet again. Dad said it's no big deal, and he just wants to lie back, relax, and watch the games, but that's no schedule for a worthy dad like yours!

It doesn't take much to make a day count. All you need is the ones you love, good food, and a scenic backdrop to capture that special essence. Luckily, we have you covered in Meatpacking with a variety of shops, cultural experiences, entertainment, and fine dining options.

Here's our guide on how to take full advantage of the neighborhood this weekend for Dad and all his loved ones, the Meatpacking way!

First, start the morning with coffee and freshly baked soccer pastries from Maman, featuring limited-edition globally inspired fillings, before strolling the cobblestone streets. From there, take a walk down Gansevoort Street and stop  into Aesop for their in-store activation, Celebrating Father Figures, and show Dad the value of self-care through the exploration of fragrances, skin care, and body care.

For lunch, we have  quite a few selections to choose from, each their own unique offering. For a casual eatery, there’s Banter that offers a local Aussie-inspired intimate brunch. Lobster Place in Chelsea market is perfect for fresh lobster rolls and a full raw bar spread for that chill seaside feel. Or head 5 floors up and dine at RH Rooftop Restaurant, pairing classic American fare with luxurious city views in their rooftop retreat.

Looking to keep the day going? Make your way to Puttery for a little friendly competition. The immersive mini golf, craft cocktails, and match screenings throughout the venue make it an easy way to spend the rest of the evening together while basking in the excitement of a family day out.

Dad may think he knows best, but he doesn't know Meatpacking like you do! We wish you and yours a Happy Father's Day!
